About Sierra Terra Cotta:

The North Carolina pottery you'll see here is all handcrafted terra cotta using a combination of wheel throwing, jiggering, hand building and original cast forms. Our unique majolica glazes are certified food, microwave and dishwasher safe.

All of our garden items have been winter-tested for exposure to snow and ice and approved by a wide range of wild birds and acrobatic squirrels. Click here for more about us.

Everything shown here (and more) is available directly from this web site, at select retail shops, at our Chapel Hill studio, by special order and at regional craft shows in the Southeast. Our studio is located near Chapel Hill on seven acres in the lush woods of the North Carolina Piedmont.
